Q: Does the Housing Authority have immediate openings?
A: No. New occupants are selected from an existing waiting list.

 

Q: How many applicants are on the waiting list, & is the list open?
A: You will have to call the office to obtain this information.

 

Q: How do I get on the waiting list?
A: Contact the Housing Authority to request an application; one will be mailed to you. Or, go to the "application" tab on the web site and download an application. Once the application is completed return it to the office for processing.

 

Q: How much would my rent be?
A: We are a Federally-Subsidized building. Your rent is based on your adjusted annual income (income + assets – medical expenses + allowances = adjusted income).

 

Q: Is there a minimum rent?
A: A minimum rent of $50 is required per month.

 

Q: How Many Units are in the building?
A: There are 100 units; mixture of units from studio to 4 bedrooms.

 

Q: What are the age requirements?
A: 18 or older, 62 and above for Senior Citizen units.

Q: How I request a work order?
A: Call the main office number and request a work order. For after-hours emergencies call the Maintenance Supervisor or designated staff on the emergency-only number.
